Default Road race coming up. Nitto DRs or something else?

Right now I have a set of the Nitto R2s (road race spec) up front with enough tread for one more event, and a set of DRs in the back that are about gone. I have not done an event yet on this combo but on the street they gripped really well. I have two weeks until the event. Should I continue with another set of DRs or change out ot something else?

You'll definitely want to get a new or a "newer" used set.
....they may not even let you compete if they're truely close to being bald.

As for what to use....too many unknowns:

Strickly RR tires or double duty
Best grip or longevity
etc.

I'm trying to pick up a set of zr1s right now to keep for track events, and yeah I definently need to pick up at least 2 for the rear, but I was wondering if anyone has done any events with DRs on the back. I read it was a good combo for the street, and it has been, but how does it handle on the track? I love being able to push it pretty hard during on ramps and such, and the ability to launch on people at the same time is definently a benefit, so I'd like to keep this combo going if I could, but if the R2s would be better suited I'll swap for now.

Definately run the same tires on all 4 corners.
Nitto 555 RII's at each corner would be great.
If wear bars are flush with the tread block your car won't pass tech.
Don't mess around/play games/mix n match front/rear tire.
