It's an awesome track, especially when the whole 3.1 miles of it is opened up. I personally enjoy the track considerably, the surface conditions are excellent, except for a few rinkles on one of the turns. If you make it a regular deal, get your own suit, it'll save you loads of coin.
Heck, even when it's just the non 3.1 mile track, it's very nice.

Be very careful in the mornings however if there had been any condensation overnite and the sun hasnt dried it off. It gets quiiiite slick on the offcamber turns.

I probably have 1000 laps out there ... both directions, the long and both short configurations.

Surface is glass smooth and LOTS of runoff with NOTHING to hit. Your street car is perfectly safe out there ...

As far as "costs" ... are you talking membership or running with a group like BMW club, The Driver's Edge, Apex Driving Academy or NASA-Tx.

I instruct for Apex and TDE ...

I didn't know that any TDE instructors were on here or that you were one. I'll be at TWS on March 3rd/4th and probably at MSR on March 31st/April 1st. Watch out for me and say hi. I did this once last year at TWS and am ready to go again.

There is some sort of Roush thing going on on the 30th.

Not sure I will be able to instruct the M31/A1 dates ... work sucks.
