Default Spring rate help, advise and ??

What is the pros and cons on useing Progressive springs vs Linar spring.
this is what i have

Frt. 548
Rear. 180-230
Or
Frt. 325-630
Rear. 95-160
I have revalved Bilsteins on the car. Its a 99 SS that is used for some HPDE and a few TT a year. Getting Konis is not a option unless you want to trade for what i have. I am getting Sam Strano Sways in the spring.

If you can buy Sam's springs they have very nice balance. I think those first springs are hotchkis? One thing that I heard about them is that the rears are a bit too stiff. So you may have to compansate with your rear swaybar selection to avoid been too loose. As far as the other set it sounds like DMS, They are not as bad as some will make them out to be because the wide gap between pressure. Once the weight of the car is on them the effective rate is much better than 325/95. I would not recomend them for your application unless you re-re-valve your shocks. I have koni shocks and it took a bit to dial them to my liking with the DMS springs. I'm happy with them and handle great on and off the track but like I said you will have to dial your sway selections and shock settings to maximize your setup.

Killer Bluebird; this is I know, but what size C4 'disc' wheels are those in your sig pic, and what size/brand R compounds are on them??
Contrary to what everyone else on here thinks, they actually look wicked on there in that color!!

+1, they look great!

Back on topic, if you're planning on getting Strano sway bars in the spring I would get Strano springs as well, they should be a good match in terms of balance since Sam really sets his stuff up as a system.

I have LG motorsports Super Sport springs in my car right now that I will be replacing with coilovers, they're 550 or so in the front and 180 rear if memory serves, they seem to work pretty well, but I have a larger front and stock rear sway bar so the stiffer rear springs are probably just balancing out the lack of a larger rear sway bar in my case.
