C6 Vert Question
C6 Vert Question Some tool and his friend in a new corvette were next to me in traffic and the driver was all ready to show off. We just briefly romp on it, and I seem to jump him, but have to almost immediately hit the brakes.
As if it was some definitive match, he drives up and says something to the nature of "You can't take this."
So I was thinking about it, and I don't think it would have been the asspounding he thinks it would have been. It was a C6 CONVERTIBLE, non-z06, and from how the guy was driving, it was probably an automatic. He also had a friend with him.
I figure, if it's an early C6, he only has 400hp, and my car would be around 350 (going by how GM underrated Camaros).. So probably around 50hp advantage to him, and it being a convertible and having a passenger in the car (I only weigh 140).. I think it wouldn't have been anything spectacular. Especially if he was just test driving the car (the road is lined with dealerships)

I say he would'nt have put a car on you but the new vetts run good more hp,cubes, also they are lighter even if a "tool" is driving. I have had some time to check 'em out as I've sold 'em new for the last ten years and I own a Camaro, but it would be fun to see the look on the guys face if you pulled him a little.
