Here are a few pics taken at Calabogie Motorsports Park (amazing track, btw ):

These two are from the SAME corner, outside, then inside ..... look at the HUGE body roll!!!! (looks like a 4x4 from the inside! )

And this one is from Mosport DDT (Driver Development Track) ..... notice the direction of the car, and the direction of the wheels?! That's what street tires do for you!!

I took the bird to its first autocross this weekend. Not really road racing, but close enough.

Note the excellent tape job.

It was. I had to sell it. But you can see how it was set up in my fquick. So now I get to set up my wife's car for ESP until I get a dedicated track car.

Getting eaten by one of many C6 Z06's at the Glen this past monday. Thinking I might spring and buy the whole cd from track-time photos for the two days.

Were the C6 Z06es all running on stock OEM tires in that monsoon, or did they have a dedicated rain tire (like the Hoosier DOT Wets, even though I know they don't make Z06 sizes in those)??

Either way, it's cool to see expensive Vette owners actually using their rides, and NOT afraid to get them wet!!

I'm not sure I think there were 3 C6 Z06's there. One was brand new with like 700 miles on it, and the tranny blew towards the end of the second day.

Cannot remember exactly what I did wrong there (though I'd give the odds to "too much throttle"),

But it was fun, and ended w/out damage!

Maybe I was giving drifting a shot?
