First autocross: What gear to use for an A4?

First autocross: What gear to use for an A4? Hi, just looking for some info on gear selection. Car is a 2000 C5 with heads/cam 390rwhp, which gear should I leave it in to get the best times on a tight course?

Re: First autocross: What gear to use for an A4? Probably 2nd gear on a slow course just try to be as smooth as possible,try to keep braking and accelaration in a straight line until gain a little experience.
