What is CP??? I happened to see the hood, you use Carbed motor on Camaro. Is CMC2 race? What kind of race you drive on that Camaro? Auto-Cross only???

slow down first off.......

CP is C Prepared, a classification for SCCA autoxing. Section C, subsection Prepared, basically.

CMC2 is Camaro Mustang Challenge. just like it sounds. im fairly sure CMC1 is factory stock, and CMC2 is modified.

That's not quite right. CMC and CMC2 are both pretty stock. CMC has a power limit of 230 hp/300 tq, while CMC2 is 260/310.

In CMC, you can run fox body Mustangs, 3rd gens, and LT1 4th gens. The LT1's have to have a restrictor to get the power that low. In CMC2, you can run an LT1 unrestricted and an LS1 with a restrictor. Also, you can run 17x9's in CMC2; CMC is limited to 16x8's. Otherwise, the classes are very, very close.

AI and AIX allow much more mods than either CMC or CMC2.

The Car is at my dads shop. He's currently working on it, prepping it for next Auto-X season. Next time I'm down there I'll snap some pix.

"CP" is C Prepared for SCCA solo events, as EchoMirage stated.

Some one asked me about the Rear Flares. They are Fiberglass, 1969 Mustang Flares modified to kinda fit the Camaro. They don't fix exact but the diameter is close. Look closely to the lower front of the flare and it just comes up short of the rocker. The Fronts use to look like the rear until My dad cut and re-glassed it.

The entire Front end is a Drag Race Complete Fiberglass clip. We had to cut out the hood. The Fenders and bumper are one complete piece. We also had to cut about a 12-16 inches off of the rear or the clip to make it fit by the doors. the rear hatch is a fiberglass piece as well.
The car weights about 2,600lbs.

here is some more pix i found back in 2003 at the SCCA Solo Nationals in Topeka, KS.

The rears are 27x14's and the Front is 25x13's. Both on 16x12 wheels.
The exhaust system is a cross-over set, custom made by Maier Racing.
For those not familiar with a Cross-over set-up, it's a system that
goes up and over the back half of the motor. From there,we routed it
down into the passenger compartment, instead of down and underneath the car.
We knew the car was gonna sit to low, so that was the best option.
So the floorboard is in tact, but we did cut up the firewall and the hole
in the door.

Those flares are Maier Racing 1969 Mustang Flares. We're close friends with the Family who owns and operates the business. They took the closest set and modified them to fit the Camaro. After 5 years, the rears still don't fit right.
