Default hey anyone with 17x11 zr1's...

I just found a good deal on a set of 17x11's for the rear of my car. I was wondering if anyone had some pictures of their F-body with 17x9 on the front and 17x11 zr1's on the back, preferably with a 315 tire. Thanks guys!

also did all of you have to do the BFH mod to make em fit?

Dude, you are asking for pics of the most common wheel on these cars. Try a search.

haha. I didnt know ZR1s were different? oh well, I picked em up for 300 bucks. Def. worth it. I did not have to do the BFH, or roll my fenders at stock height. Lowered tho i had to roll. Tire size also plays a major factor in determining that. My nitto DRs run skinnier than my Goodyears. Hence i had more issues with the good years.

Oh my...search for "ZR1" "17x11" etc etc. This is probably one of the most common questions asked in here.

Hmm, read the post before mine. Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks you need to use the search function.

Usually I do help. But these questions are asked ALL the MF time, and since you're being a lazy ****. WhyTF would I waste my time to do all the searching. When all that YOU have to do is click search, and type in key words such as "ZR1" "17x11" like I have already mentioned.

But to answer your question (which you could have found the answer to in a matter of minutes). You may or may not have to do the BFH. All cars are different. If you're car is lowered, you'll likely have to do the BFH mod. If its not lowered, then probably not. It also depends on what brand 315s you plan on running. Just mount the wheels/tires. Drive a little bit, take them off and see if you see any scrapes.

HTF do you know i didn't do one search. I searched around plenty and found a few pics before i made the thread. I figured no one would have a problem posting pics of there ride. Apparently no one wants to post pics of their car.
so why dont you GTFO and stop making useless posts

Alright buddy, I understand you may have posted around on a lot of the threads about wheel sizes. however was i asking if they would fit? no. was i asking what i would have to do to make them work? no. So where you really answering MY question? no. I searched around plenty and feel comfortable making them work on my car. I was simply requesting a few pictures of what our members cars look like. I figured Id add the BFH comment as to get an idea of how many people PERSONALLY BFH'd their car when they put on the 11 inchers. Thanks for your contribution.

For being a newbie you sure are starting off on the wrong foot, ls1 owner or not.

Like Donohue said, it will depend on the car. Something wide like the GSD3 might require more modding than a Nitto. But it all just depends on the car. I was running BFG KD's and had no problem with them at all when they are a pretty wide tire and some cars may need the BFH.

My roommate has 9's in the front and 11's in the back. Go to his profile and look at some pics, he's name is jrob56. I know he cut off the bump stop to make the rears fit but didn't roll the fenders.

You can find my pics in my album on the black car. Sitting at stock height and I BFH'd it and cut off the bump stops just because I might as well and it won't hurt anything to do it right and just be safe the first time. Didn't need to roll the fenders but I will be doing that as well for more insurance real soon. Hope this helps!

I may have some pics up later of mine. It depends on if I get around to doing a test fit with my 17x11's or not. I'm not sure if I can get my car outta the driveway, with all the snow around it right now. lol
