Does your temperature gauge work? Might be your map sensor?

A car will actually start and run fine with no MAP sensor. Took mine in for a tune a long time ago and there was no MAP reading. Was running fine though.

Go to autozone and buy a spark plug tester. It should be like a spark plug wire with a "light bulb" that you put between the spark plug and coil. Should only be a couple bucks. If the cylendar is firing, then the bulb will flash at every RPM.

Does the car run at idle without pedaling the gas? Starting to sound like a big intake leak if you're hearing a whistle and it runs rough at idle... Plus if you have an intake leak, the engine will run lean so it will dump in extra fuel to try and even out.
it will sometimes run without putting my foot on but barley, runs like ****. but will usually die right away after firing up. it sounds like its going to idle fires up hard after letting it sit then it take a dump.

Idle Air Control is a little solonoid on the throttle body. I think it has two T-20 screws holding it on the top side.... It'll be a cylendar about 2 inches long sticking out the side and when you take it off, it'll have a rod coming out of the cylendar with a cone shapped rubber stopper on the tip.

It's hard to test those without replacing it...

I can't tell you exactly where the crank sensor is, but it's gonna be somewhere near the bellhousing. It will most likely read the flywheel. Not quite sure about these LS1s... I've never messed with one on these cars.

I'd still REALLY like to get some kind of video/sound clip of your car cranking, idling and then giving it gas. Plus the whistling noise would be really helpful to hear. See if you can get one of your buddies or something to figure out how to post it. Try and go through youtube. And don't use a cell phone. They hardly ever work on youtube. Use the newest camera you have access to...

I spy a SES light on your video. Scan it, it may give you (and us) some insight.

It's doing that because you're not wearing a seat belt... lol j/k.

Sounds like a really big intake leak... start searching everywhere on the intake system. If you can get a hold of a "smoke machine" like I mentioned before, use that. It will show you instantly where an intake leak is.

If you can get a smoke machine, try forcing a fog machine (like for halloween and stuff) into the intake. Make it as air tight as possible. Also, you could attatch an air hose from a compressor and feel for air coming out of the intake system. I'm trying to be creative here...

Do you have any intake mods? If so, start searching there first.

definately get a code reader. even someone else's hand held tuner will read codes. you can wind up spending a bunch of money for no reason.

I'll say faulty idle control valve, its located on the side of the throttle body, driver side. Hit it a little with the back part of a screw driver and have somebody try to start the engine, if you see any change or it stays running longer, theres your problem.

Gotta love electronic motors/solonoids. The BMW E46 3 series do that with their fuel pumps and starters lol. If a no-start car comes in, we pull the back seat, get a hammer and pry bar and smack the pump while walking beside the car as someone drives it into the shop. I didn't know you could do that with the idle control valve on f-bods.

The engine dying like it did in the video doesn't seem like idle control vavle to me tho. It's more like an intake leak. You can hear when it dies, it's fighting for it. The idle control vavle usually idles up and down for a little and usually only falls on it face with a load on it, such as A/C turned on. The engine doesn't wanna die and that's what makes me think it's a huge intake leak.
