Its a 75/88 pretty much
The on3 is a 88/83 and wasnt that bad. Should actually be pretty similar since the BW is a better design wheel im sure.
I gota hit this 9second pass followed by 150mph traps! Lol

Had the On3 88 lived a bit longer it would have got you 9's @150 easily! Your 1000+ lbs lighter and it got my pig in the 9's on a baby soft tune. What did On 3 say about the turbo when you asked them?

Can you get the S475 in a smaller A/R housing? A 1.32 T6 seems excessive for a 5.3L... or not?

Im not even gona bother with on3. I wana hit the track before it gets boiling hot here in AZ. And it seems here in AZ we always need more power to run fast times compared to other states. We have shitty air.

People are using the 1.32 on a 5.3 no problem. Probably not the best for a 5.3 but it works and leaves you room to grow in the future

What are you going to do with the junk on3 turbo? I could use it for mockup to plan adding a second one! haha

Try some 90% humidity air down here in Florida. Gets thick pretty soon. I'd at least tear it apart to see what happened. May be a cheap fix

I hear ya. I'm running the cx racing 80mm stg3 ball bearing with a 1.15 a/r housing. I'm gonna start at 16# and let it eat. Either go or blow.

I'd bet money the 1.32 S475 out spools the On3 88.

With the small 83/74 S475 I went 9.7 @ 143 on 17lbs/16* timing with a 8.6:1 5.3 shifting at 5400 rpm. 1.56 60'! Then went 151 @ 23.8lbs and 153 @ 25.8lbs.

9's will be cake with the big S475 at your weight!

Gotta say thx for the pointers! Forcefed

I took ur advice on the big wheel s475, lets see how it works.
Next i wanna get some gen 4 guts and max out the fuel system!.

Lets see how much power this fresh stock rebuilt th400 will take.

Any aftermarket parts at all in the th400?
I'm interested to see how long it lasts too.

I have a feeling you're going to like the S475, it's a badass turbo!

So the 1.32 S475 should see 25lbs by ~4200 RPM or so? I can foot brake mine to ~11lbs or so with a 3600 converter in about a second and hits 25lbs about .8 seconds later. Hits a 1.4 60' in a pig heavy IRS car.

I'm genuinely curious since I have a forged bottom end and better flowing top end engine waiting to go in and I either want a bigger turbo or go up and forward headers and twins to feed it. Only problem I have is weight and a baby 88, haha. Any good T4 to T6 adapter flanges, or chop cut rebuild?

All stock. The guy that rebuilt it said it was modded to run more pressure. Thats it.
Was shifting fine on 16psi.
Well see how far it goes

Nice it's going to be a good test.

Sweet new turbo will be sick brah. I picked up a short block gen4! I am in business. Now I just have to not blow this one up so I can put it in my Fairmont. That Th400 will last man, mine is a swap meet mystery tranny hahah **** it. Now if it was a th350.. you'd be fucked. Can't wait to see a slip from this beast!
