Temporarily yeah. Still drove it 60mi in 105 degree temps, but it was an angry bitch. Hoping to get it back to street duty with the new ecu setup. (Tune was way off due to issues out of tuners control)

It would have been a nice video to see this car and Ryan Tuckers Z do an 1/8th mile run.

Totally stable. It went a bit faster later that night, but the clocks were off. Had a bit of tire shake in 2nd gear but the car was totally stable up top.

So I finally managed to get someone with a paint shop to love me. Phatt Katt Speedshop in Salinas decided to tackle my car body and paint!

I decided to go with a Mercedes color, Steel Grey

They should be done next week with the paint. Gonna do black accents on the bumper and handles, and eventually some nice black/polished wheels.

Nice color choice. When will you have it up and running with the Holley?

Its actually already up and running with it. I swapped it out thanksgiving week, just didn't take any pictures when I did it. It runs incredibly well on the Holley, with about 5 mins of adjustment. Haven't been able to get it dynoed or to the track yet though. Maybe in 2 weeks at DRN in Vegas, otherwise probably not until march.

I actually totally spaced on that update. I installed the Holley system

Swapped out my cast wheel GT55 for a Forced Inductions billet wheel setup,

And I am now prototyping a new LS water pump that will be on the market in a few months for my sponsor Davies Craig. So far it works great, but I haven't gotten to put any long trips on it yet.

I will do a full writeup on the Davies Craig system once I get some better pictures and a few miles on it. Should be a very competitive system though!

Made it to the track again, and got a new best. If my fuel pump hadn't crapped out on me AGAIN, we could have made a solid attempt at a 7 second pass. Next time for sure it seems.

My old one is still kicking ***. The new holleys are absolute garbage. I will be warrantying out this pump and either going mechanical/cable or weldon/magnafuel for a 2nd pump. Money is currently tight though, so it will be a month or two.

The newish AEM380's are pretty hauss pumps. Flow doesn't' drop like a rock at higher head pressures. 044 style pumps have great track records and they are cheapish... Paid $128 shipped for mine. 2 of them would blow a holley 1800 out of the water flow wise.
