Default New Proportioning Valve Leaking Through Sensor

Just bought a brand new proportioning valve. After installing it, I started bleeding the brakes. Everything was going perfect until I saw a puddle under the car form. Turns out brake fluid is coming out of the thread area where the plastic white sensor screws into. This happens when the brakes are being pumped. See image below for leak location. It is coming from the threaded area, not the top of the sensor:

Anyone know what the issue could be? Bad seals or something??

I just installed disc brakes in the rear. It originally had disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. I am using the same master cylinder from that setup.
