I got a little done on the exhaust this week, I fitted the last piece before the muffler this morning..... Then I redrilled the upper rear shock brackets so I can extend the length of the shock at ride height, now its's in the middle of it's travel..... Then after cleaning up some crap and tools I removed most of the wiring from under the dash except for the courtesy lights, speaker and power window harnesses..... Now I need to figure out where I am going to mount the Holley HP ECU and get a bracket made for it.....

Here's the redrilled shock mounts installed again.....

Here's the pile of wiring I removed and threw away, then the stuff I saved for later use(mostly for connectors).....

I also printed some enlarged Holley EFI wiring picks earlier this week, so I can see and read the pin placements and colors.....

Little progress made today, at least it seams that way..... I wanted to get my Holley ECU mounted today, I tried it everywhere under the dash possible and ended up with the first place I thought of..... It allows the most space around it, it's just a bitch of a place to make a bracket for..... I made a couple cardboard templates, then went over to work and bent one up..... To my surprise it was really close to being right, but not good enough..... I marked up the changes I need, I will make another one tomorrow and give it a try.....

I have been studying the wiring diagrams and have decided to take the relay and fuse out of the front of the Holley harness, so I cut the tape off the end of my unterminated harness..... That's as far as I got on that today.....

Here is the bracket I made today.....

I got another mounting bracket made for the ECU Monday, this one fit perfectly so I cleaned it up and put riv-nuts in the mounting holes..... Then yesterday afternoon I put the ECU on the bracket and mounted the bracket under the dash.....

I also got the exhaust pipe finished from the down pipe to the muffler, I put a brushed finish on it just to give it a neutral look..... I also made a pattern for the muffler hanger I am going to make today.....

I got the hanger bracket fitted and welded on the muffler towards the end of the week..... Today I brush finished the muffler and put it back on the car, I also got the next section of pipe fitted and marked up.....

Next I removed the relay/fuse assembly from my Holley EFI harness, and separated the shielded wires(WBO2, cam and crank sensors) from the rest of the harnesses..... Then I put the harness in the car and routed the shielded wires through the firewall grommet I modified to fit these wires.....

I also made and installed the trans cooler lines from the trans to the back of the driver side tower.....

Made and installed the oil feed and return lines for the turbo..... I put the pass side header and crossover pipes in, also put the turbo blanket on..... Then I installed the dipstick, spark plugs and 6 of the plug wires(the back coils on both sides need to be relocated to clear the master on the driver side and the heater blower motor on the pass side)..... I think I have figured out how I want to move them, but I will make a final decision and make some brackets.....

Here's the progress for today.....

I like the use of the AN fittings for the brake lines. I am going to install a Baer Remaster on my Cougar soon and I picked up some banjo AN-3 adapters.

Yeah, we use stainless banjo -3an adaptors on Wilwood masters all the time at work..... They have a nice clean appearance.....

Where do you source the stainless banjo fittings? I think mine are just coated steel.
