Today I put the alternator on, trans cooler mounted and radiator/water pump mocked up in place..... I made the coolant lines from the block to the radiator/water pump..... Then I went over by work and made a couple brackets to adjust the mounting position of the 2 back ignition coils.....
I got the coil bracket I made on the car today..... I also made and installed the trans cooler lines from the cooler to the bulkheads in the core support..... Then I worked on making the lines for the wastegate signal, they are pretty much done now I just need to get one more fitting to finish the second one.....
Finally got the last part of the exhaust welded together this week..... I gave it the same brushed look as the rest of the exhaust and installed it this morning.....
I picked up the fitting I needed to finish the wastegate reference line, put it together and installed it..... I don't know if it would make a difference in the way the gates see the signal, but I made both lines the same length just in case.....
Then I mounted a coolant catch can in the outer fenderwell area and routed a hose out to it from the radiator..... I put it out there just to save some space in the engine compartment.....
I also mounted my water temp gauge sender in the pass side coolant adaptor on the block.....
I got the inner fender plastics out and cleaned them all up, the cleaned up really well.....
I put all new speed clips in so I can put the fenders back on..... Before that I decided to clean the front door post area before I covered them up with the fenders, and I found that most of the factory seam sealer in this area was loose..... I probably removed 80 percent of it with no effort what so ever..... I wasn't going to do anything with this area until I got around to painting the car, so for now I just cleaned the area up and painted the bare metal areas with POR15 to protect them until I do paint the car someday.....
Put it on the ground this morning and moved it outside for the first time in a while so I could get the floor swept up..... I also needed it out so I could get the front fenders and valence out of the rafters..... Got it back inside and bucket washed it to get the crud off it, then jacked the front back up so I can get the front sheet metal installed.....
After cleaning the underside of the front fenders and treating a little light surface rust that was there, I washed the topside and got them and the front valence installed..... I also put the 2 rear hood dzus brackets on the cowl for mounting/supporting the hood, then put the hood on to get the front of the fenders aligned properly.....
Getting closer! Really enjoy this build and the details you are putting into it.
Thanks.....

Still need to paint fuel tank and put it in, finish plumbing tank, install tank vent bottle/plumb it, install KB boostapump, finish mounting hood/paint it, do body work on stone guard/paint/install, install bumper brackets/bumper, finish modifying grill/paint/install, install intake/elbow/throttle body plus modifications, make/install charge pipe assy, install new carpet/put seats back in, and wire the whole mess..... I am sure I am forgetting a few things too..... So yeah, not much threat of driving it soon.....
