'99 HOZ Twin Turbo 370 build
Finally getting started on my first turbo setup, figured id make a build thread for it.
The car is a 99 Hugger Orange Z28 6 speed that was just a small cammed ls1. Sold the motor and picked up a iron block and 317 heads.
The plan for this car is it will be my daily driver, with intentions for around 600whp on low boost.
Motor will feature lunati rods, wiseco pistons and a factory crank. ARP studs all around. Holley Hi-Ram
Sending off the 317s to Advanced Inductions for a small port job and clean up and a custom grind cam.
Textralia OZ700, 12bolt or 9", I haven't decided on that yet.
As for fuel I need to do some research on what I will need and I plan on using the factory harness and ECU.
As for the turbos, Im considering some AGP Zeta 3.0s. But still need to further research what ill need.
Dual electric cutouts under the car with CME out the back.
Also I am really tossing around the idea to do a wide body kit and try to imitate the "Dick Harrell" Camaro.
Ill post up pictures as time goes on. Any advice and concerns will be greatly appreciated!

I think a member was trying to make his car into a DH replica a while back. I don't know how far the car got or if it was finished. I'll have to do some digging and see if I can find the thread.

Yea I think I remember that. I also seen before somewhere someone was selling a full kit. with wide fenders and all that jazz. But I cant seem to find it anywhere anymore. I already have the freedom wing and Sunoco hood, I just need the fenders/quarters and the front bumper

Little update. Picked up a few goodies for #BoostedPumpkin. Wiseco dished pistons, Lunati rods, ARP main studs, stock 317s, Huron Speed Twin T4 kit, Twin AGP 53s. Iron 370ci build. Gonna take the block to get cleaned and machined here soon. What power level do you think she'll make? Im planning to use a holley hi-ram with it.

Thanks man. Idk Im still considering it. I think it would look badass but yea I kind of don't want to do it to a 1/214 car lol. Got the rest of the kit in last night.

Got some more progress done. Short block getting done, then time to finish up in the engine bay with the wire tuck and painting.
