GEEZ... Gotta "love" the people who think that banning an inanimate object is the answer to peoples' misuse of that object...

(OK, hopping off the soapbox as quickly as I hopped on...)

As an (sadly)ex-owner of a Opel Omega (although mine was from '98), I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with your build! The older cars are cool as well, and very spacious!

As far as I know, the platform was originally designed in Germany by Opel for the Rekord, and then was used by Vauxhall/Holden.
The successor car, the Opel/Vauxhall Omega received a all-new platform and design in 1994, which was later used, although with some upgrades, for the GTO

I'll bet he sent the body off to be mated with the cage? This looks like an awesome build, love that body style.

car has gone to www.custom-garage.co.uk
all work and photos by Wayne

having body mounted to chassis, engine and box mounted, steering rack mounted and few other odd jobs that would take me ages but will get done to a much better standard than I can do by Wayne

got some LS9 head gaskets

then stuck the heads on

plopped the inlet on but.....

inlet orifice hits front plate so will need to slice it underneath the manifold but this

is touching oh so inappropriately the mid plate
DO they unscrew? Mine seems a bit tight and I'm not too keen on smashing a hole in the inlet
can I get a blanking plug and take the map feed from somewhere else or modify this to take a 90 deg fitting?

talk to me LS1tech-ers

Do you still intend to use the Megasquirt or going with something else? Nice build!
