I have had coilovers on some hot rods I built and liked them. We'll see if I am smart enough to learn how to adjust them right for a strip car.

Hell of a car, very unique and will be badass when the car is done. Good luck with the build. Will follow this build and really looking forward to seeing it done!

Hey thanks. Where are you located in Nebraska? I can always use some help from someone with LS experience.

Lincoln, Nebraska, but the SS that I'm building sits in a garage in David City. I can try and help if you got any questions.

Awesome, thanks. I will keep in touch. I am on the other side of the state but I may have some questions for you here once I go to do the cam swap.

Great work so far! What are your plans for the fuel and cooling systems?

Thanks. It is getting a fuel cell and an Aeromotive A1000. No sure on the cooling system yet. Most likely an f body style radiator.

F body radiator works great and stock hoses fit with trimming.

Did you get the GTO engine complete with harness and accessories? What did you pay ballpark if you don't mind? Been wanting one for a while-prices vary quite a bit. How many miles on yours?
Thanks!

Thanks. That is what I was thinking to make it easy. The car will spend most of its time on the track and not as much on the street. Eventually my plan is to make it a full X275 car and it will only be a track car.

Thanks!
I did get the complete GTO engine with the 4l60e trans and full wiring harness. The whole setup had just under 100K for miles on it. Everything was in great condition. I gave $2800 for everything. I have decided to upgrade alot of the parts the further I have got in the project so now I am selling most everything but the base engine.

Out of curiosity what color are you planning on painting it once it's ready?

It will be a flat charcoal gray with black trim.

Sounds badass, I'm a fan of the matte paint, can make a car look pretty aggressive. Wish I could do something matte but the only thing I can afford is plasti-dip lol
