That's a bad assumption. They offer more PtV clearance, but not that much more.

I did measure, just with the old factory mls that were in there. Before with my 243s my intake was .148 and my exhaust was .124. Now with the trick flows and the old gasket it was int. .132 and exh. .111. Granted I just did quick measurements to make sure I still had clearance and I believe I am safe

You're good. Did you torque the heads down when you measured? I've seen as much as .017-.020" between the stock MLS gaskets untorqued vs the final torque with Cometic .040s... Even then, you'd still be safe.

I wouldn't say they were fully torqued down but they were definitely tight, if I had to relate the feeling of tightness I would say my second pass to 50ftlbs on the head studs was a similar feeling. That is interesting that you would see that much variance. I am pretty comfortable with my measurements, they were to just confirm that I still have the ptv.

In for your first impressions. The compression bump alone will cause the grin factor to appear!

That would be nice. Who's going to tune it? I've always loved your car. Those CETA's are bad bitches.

Straightline Performance, of the several places I sent an inquiry to they are the only ones that called back, one emailed back but only with a price and none of my questions answered. I also have not found a bad story with them. Thanks for the compliment!

We will have some results next Friday! Hopefully my fuel pump will keep up on the nitrous, if not going to turn that down.

Its currently on a 150 shot, but I am going to see what the fuel pump can handle safely since in theory its near the high end of its limits the way it was before these heads. So if I end up only being able to do 100 shot that's fine. The nitrous is just for funsies now a days

Dropping it off tonight! Should have some results Friday evening! Any guesses? I am thinking 470/450 NA, 550/600 (if it acts like it did before) on 100 shot, and if the fuel pump can keep up 600/650 on the 150

Depending on the dyno, I'd say 470 rwhp is a very realistic expectation.

The previous numbers were on a Dynojet 224xLC

Straightline has a Mustang MD-1100SE dyno

In the end we all know numbers do not matter but they sure are fun!

Yeah number are fun but not the end all.

Do you plan on taking it back to the other dyno for comparison?
