Valve cover crack. Easy for shop to repair or worth it at all?
Like the title says, one valve cover for a set of 243's I bought and am going to install has a crack that propagates through the cover on one of the coil pedestals. should I even get a shop to fix it or is it not even worth it. I was grinding them down for paint when I noticed. the hope was to have the valve covers painted when I installed the heads so I didn't have to wait for paint to dry. any suggestions?

Have it welded man. My welder here in Lauderdale would charge me $10.00 to weld that.
Whiled they are off have them sand blasted for another $10.00. Then lightly sand them by hand for 20 minutes. Then paint them.
