If these are for your subs or mids that have an amp don't waste your money. Amps have that kind of range filter already built in for you. Also most head units have high and low pass filters built in for this too.

I am thinking <150Hz for subs (2 stealth boxes), 150-500Hz for mid bass (sails), 500-3k for mids (doors and hatch), and >3k for tweets (doors and hatch). Using 3 amps. My head unit crossover ends at 250Hz, and I don't see any amps that crossover abode 500Hz.... so... I am looking for firsthand experience with these FMODS in line xovers.

Most aftermarket highs and mids come with cross overs to use.

Also after market head unit should filter for the rca's from the get go to limit frequency. Sub cut of at 300hz, mids 100hz-1k? And highs should start like 200hz and up. Well how they use to be.
Why the stock radios had the eq on them type setup.

Sorry if this doesn't help but you should never need those.

The amps that I want, and my headunit only crossover up to 250Hz, so I'd need to have the headunit HighPass set to 100Hz, and then use one of these 500Hz filters to get the desired mid-bass bandpass range.

Also, I could have totally separate tweeters and midrange with these.

Think you got how the high pass works backwards. If you set it to 100hz that's how low of a signal those speakers can get. Which would be plenty of mid range bass or too much. Would set that more around 240hz. Also for amp, should have a setting to help with cutting the high or low frequency out unless it's just a subwoofer amp. Most do both but have to move the switch to Hi or low for the x-over.

This is what I am, thinking:

Would this sound better than having component sets in the doors and hatch?

The line drivers could go where the back seats are, and the amps on a Sub-Thump amp rack in the t-top storage area. I'd also get a 270A alternator from Texas Speed.

Am I completely thinking wrong, or would this be a nice setup for good quality sound?
