Zero gas milage. You now use diesel or fuel. LOL. We have a diesel passat, When my wife asks me to go get gas in the car I say NO.

My son has 16 Duramax he bought last year at this time, nice truck.

I just noticed the now 900+ torque rating on the new duramax. That is insane!

Nice truck man! The only thing that looks odd to me is the back doors, they seem so much smaller than previous years. As far as mods go I'm not 100% sure what's out there, I know the EPA is coming down real hard on the diesel community for deletes and such. I wish I knew some good GM diesel sites to point you in the direction.

Its a double cab ( new extended cab ) that is why the rear doors are short. Save a bunch of money by not getting the crew cab, at least on the 1500s.

Nice looking truck. They are a great truck for sure. I have a 15 3500 duramax and with the torque you almost don't notice your pulling anything. It's that smooth, a 1 ton shouldn't ride the way they do.

My dirty old 01 dmax is the lowest rated of them all.. But it's honestly a dream for towing, and sips fuel around town (damn 5 speed). Sweet truck you'll love it!

I'd give Kory Willis a call if you are looking for modifications.

I would wait a couple thousand miles before modding it. They tow pretty good stock. Mileage about the same stock and modded. I get about 11 towing.

My wife just got a new 1500 and at our dealer the price was the same for both models if the wheel base is the same, Double cab has 6' box and the crew with 5 1/2'. The price was higher on the crew cab with 6' box but they are also longer wheelbase so that may explain the difference.

Very nice truck you have there, Love the color, As others have said you might want to try it out in the stock configuration first. As much as these trucks cost the last thing I would want to do is void the warranty trying to get more power when it's probably not needed.

Any mods (tune, deletes, etc) will probably void the warranty. Check out competitiondiesel.com it is a good diesel forum that will have more answers than an LS forums

The new L5P is strong.

Tuning will be available through EFILive shortly. The ecm is same as Colorado diesel.

Nice truck! And people seem to think the Mustang/Camaro (and Challenger?) is the only arms race going down between domestic auto companies. The last 10 years have been HUGE for diesels.

I would personally leave the truck stock. Stock towing capacity would be around 23000 lbs if not more. Your Camaro in a 28 foot trailer wouldn't even scratch the surface.
