That billet Y block is exactly what I am looking for but not sure if the 76mm between the 8AN centers match the dual pump brackets. Anyone know? Also want to find a US seller since I don't trust shipment from China being timely.
Any thoughts on compact, but not restrictive pre-pump filters.
Why are these blocks designed to use the check valves? Are they actually using the check valve or just because that's how the 044s are delivered?

Here's a US seller.

No idea on compact pre filter's. I used a surge tank with no filter on the Aem 380. It's fed by the OEM intank sock pump.
Let us know what you come up with!

This is how I plan on doing it, minus the surge tank and with AEM 380s. The Y setup will be more compact with AEMs since the check valves are built into the 8AN fitting.

Believe the 044 check valves will thread into the AEM pumps. at $15 each that be something to look into.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Genuine-...NYm3ys&vxp=mtr
Then run one of these $20 twin pump adaptors.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Billet-Alumi...NXoAHl&vxp=mtr
For $22 shipped you can buy 2 of the bosch clones and get 2 pumps for $14 and rob the check valves off them.

Or these that claim 300lph for a bit more.

AEM uses -6 outlet on the pressure side and -10 on the intake side.
Bosch 044 uses M12 on the pressure and M18 on the inlet.
If you really must retain the check valves for a pair of 044's for whatever reason, then there are already options out there

But yes, whilst compact, still **** for flow. That said, if the orifices are big enough it probably wont impact overall flow too much anyway

Some people obsess about check valves. They are not needed. If you want an 044 to flow more...throw away the check valve, the same will apply to the AEM.
It does mention the difference in their instructions, but dont have them to hand.
Obviously if you want to stage the pumps then you would need check valves somewhere though

I have one and a 255 just going into a y. The check valve for the 380 is fn tiny inside, I just used an open fitting instead. I ran out of pump with dual 255s but I'm fine with the one 380 added
