Yeah, I lean that way just because of the lower pinion, and plethora of aftermarket support but it would be cool to have a 14 bolt lol!
By the way very jealous of the turbine housing wastegate would love to do that to mine but don't think I could make it work without more major surgery

I'll bet the road manners are much better. What's the acceleration like? Better, same, worse?

Yes, much better drivability under stall, does feel a bit more laggy, but I think a lower gear would help make up the difference in the lower stall, (27/2800vs 3800)
When it builds boost, all hell breaks loose as did before lol

I'm gonna do a 35 spline 9inch, tempted to try a spool first, seems like people either love or hate them depending on what ones idea of "acceptable street manners are"........

I can tell you that I am not a huge fan of the Detroit Locker in my Cougar. Great for the few times that I drag race it and terrible on the street.

So I was getting ready to have a nice little Saturday night, you know being responsible and making sure I had plenty of premixed water/meth on hand, (aka 20 below winshield washer fluid) 3 gals worth........ Then I realized........!!! It was some plant based
Bull sh#t! That had no alchohol!!

F'n b.s!!
So after I looked closer at the label, I see its only 32 below, and then I see the stupid little leaf that says "ecco"!?!? Wtf is that?! F'n prius washer fluid?!?

So went and got the right stuff and all is well again=)

All better!

With that tire 3.73 gears will be 2295rpm @ 75 mph and 3.93 gears will be 2400rpm...

I'd go with the 3.73s...

Yea, I think for my everyday gear that's what I'll choose, maybe I'll get another 3rd member with a spool and some crazy low gear for messing around

Going to be a lot of work, but think of how good it will look.
Love your car and build, been watching form the beginning. Keep up the good work!
Used to go over to the west coast every year, maybe one day I'll see it in person.

Thank you very much!
I'd actually like to drive it down to key west for the boat races (usually go down for that) for a mile 0 sticker

Nope=)!
Went to the shop today to come up with a plan for fittment, I always knew "not a snowballs chance in hell" they would fit without narrowing the frame, the tires that are on it barley squeak in there.

Touching the frame rail....

More touching.....cant lower any further....

is it only touching the frame and sheet metal?

easy peasy compared to how much you've done.

relocating shocks and suspension links would be the bigger hassle
