Hey Todd, earlier in this thread you mentioned a modified 302-2 pan with the front pan corners notched in for clearance. Do you think this might be something that would also fit a first gen Camaro with the needed pan corner clearance with the Ridetech Tru-Turn setup?

Yes, I didn't mention it in this thread due to its irrelevance to this application, but 1st-gen F-body and 64-67 A-body swap applications will be directly benefiting from the chamfered corners on the new pan along with the Fox body Mustang application.

Bad ***. Any chance you would be able to put up some pictures of the pan with the completed corners? I'd love to see the differences visually between that and the 302-2.

I have merely been working with a carved-up sample of the 302-2 as no physical samples yet exist for the new pan. As soon as I get my hands on a production sample, I will absolutely take some photos of it and post ithem up in this thread and a couple of others.

I've completed the build of the pre-production crossmember sample for T56/T56 Magnum, TH400, 2004R, 4L60-4L70 and 4L80/4L85 transmission applications and will be using my next few posts here to depict what each will look like in production form. As is usual, I'll have to hit the design with one final round of CAD tweaks to dial things in exactly the way I want them, but you won't be able to discern the changes I'll make from these images...first up is the 4L80/4L85 installation.

It takes 4 bolts/nuts to attach the crossmember shown to the floor rails of the car and the front holes on each side already exist from the factory, so you have to mark and drill the holes for the rear bolts.

The Powerglide/TH350/TKO crossmember that I'll be showing at a later date installs in the factory crossmember pockets in a bolt-in manner.

I'm glad you like it, I put in quite a bit of effort to optimize the appearance of all my crossmember designs in combination with the functional geometry. What usually gets missed by many of those viewing them is the amount of exhaust clearance they provide, which is usually the best available.

This has ended up being one of the more involved swaps I've executed and think a lot of guys are going to enjoy the simplification these components will bring to this swap and as well as the improved finished results they provide. Yes, I will be evaluating a few different aftermarket K-members before this project gets wrapped up...then I'll be moving directly into Coyote swap components for this application.
