Nitrous 5.3 build

Was going to drop this in the original build thread, but I guess I will leave it here instead. The motor passes aren't my fastest, but the base timing is the same as my first 2 nitrous passes. In the second nitrous pass the window switch was set to low so the kit was turning off before my shift point.

The big hex key is 17MM amd you can get it at "VatoZone" spent two days trying to find one....

Swapped out the converter and headed to the track last night. Didn't get any clean passes, but learned a lot about what the car likes and doesn't. 1st pass was a 1.332 60' and then it fell on its face after the 1-2 shift. Adjusted the tune for the 2nd pass and the track was getting a worse 60 ft fell off slightly but it ran it's best 330 to date. I saw the guy in the other lane heading toward the center and I drifted out of the groove and had to let out before the 1/8 mile. The 3rd pass I got a little greedy on the leave and shook the tires. I will get some video up as soon as I can.

uraloser2me2 - I'm digging this build and the car looks setup really well, thanks for sharing. Also your build confirmed my feeling that I want to wrinkle coat everything, looks damn good.
Any pics with it all put together with the wrinkle coated covers?

That's what I was thinking, I thought I was gonna see a 2.5 60, not a sub 1.5!!

Hope to have videos of Friday night up tonight. After looking at the data I really think the 150 shot has a 9.6x. Hopefully next time out I will get a solid run in. Also I know my candles lit 1st run was caused by the engine not being up to temp.

No, I have other plans that weekend.
Here is the in-car of my second pass last time out. The track was going away so it didn't leave as hard as the 1st pass. I really wish I hadn't looked at the Blazer because it was on a pass. Ran 6.3 @ 91 mph to the 1/8 and I let off the throttle at 416 feet when I got it out of the groove. If I can put a complete pass together next time out it should go 6.0x to the 1/8 and 9.6x in the 1/4 on the 150 shot.
