Default Driveshaft question

Hello everyone, I just got in my tr6060 that will be bolted to my ls1 for my 1978 transam restomod project.

Please forgive me In my use of terminology, as I don't have much experience with driveshafts.

so the original driveshaft was mated to a th350, so the input of the driveshaft went into the transmission splines. Now my new trans has a triangular output shaft on the tr6060, which connects to a flex coupler and the drive shaft bolts to that.

what are my options with my existing drive shaft? Unless at this point? Have it shortened and redone by a drive shaft shop?

any info is appreciated, thanks

Contact Frank at The Driveshaft Shop. They can make you a custom driveshaft that will work. Instead of using a slip yoke, they use a CV.

This is the one they made for me. It's in a 08 Trailblazer SS.

Buy a Magnum take-off parts rear rebuild section. Shops doing the direct-fit Magnum conversions will offer them.
The mainshaft will be stronger, and your shifter location options will be more normal.
