My Huron 7875 showed up yesterday.

The unit looks good, spins nicely, and appears to be well made. It was double boxed and well protected. It will take a bit to get my car together and running with it and the new engine and tranny but I will post impressions when it's all said and done. Thanks for the quick replies and prompt service Jon!!

Jon

How would this compare to the cast wheel on3 7875, power level and spool time?

I'm starting to think my on3 is getting close to the limits of what it can support and looking to upgrade later this year

BTW I have a forged 5.3 home ported 862 heads, BTR Stage 2 turbo cam stock ls1 intake, TH350

Would this turbo support 900whp on a 5.3 ?

thanks

Nice looking unit. Are these turbos balanced. I didnt notice any material removal on the turbine bolt head in the pics.

Yes, this billet wheel will out flow a cast as well as spool quicker! Better design, lighter material, etc!
Depending on how much your drivetrain wants to eat up, I would be willing to bet you should be able to get close to that 900 mark!

Just chiming in regarding size.
This unit looks to be about the same size as my T7875 which is considerably larger than my old TC78 was.
With my V1 AC Huron kit I had to move the radiator forward considerably for the compressor housing to clear the radiator.

The old v1 AC kit had a different turbo placement in comparison to all of our kits, it was its own unique location that did struggle with radiator clearance on the larger compressor covers, not the case with the v2 and v3 kits

Just curious if there are any new results with this turbo?
I’ve had nothing but awesome customer service from Jon at HS...so all good there, just looking to see how this turbo is performing in the field.
Thanks
