Default Where are the fast rides in east Texas???

Just moved back to east Texas and went out last night in the fat gen and never found a single fast car. I'm near Greenville we went to rockwall and mesquite and never found anyone out and about. Would like to meet some ppl we have three cars my turbo s10 the ls3 twin turbo mustang and the supercharged fat gen so if anyone else lives around here speak up and we can try and make a meet of it

There are plenty of fast cars in the Rockwall area. In fact, the Rockwall / Heath area you'll see Aston Martins, Porsche's (which are a dime a dozen in that area), Dodge Challenger's. Mustangs GT's, GT 350's and Corvette's are all a common sight.

Mesquite has gone downhill in the last 20 years. At one time you'd see tons of Mustangs and Camaros, but these days you won't find anything there.

There are so many Corvette's in Rockwall, it could belong to anyone here, or no one here. I see a yellow C7 in my neighborhood all the time plus a few others.

I've seen lots of awesome cars during the week when the sun is out but when Friday or Saturday rolls around and the sun's down it's like a ghost town as far as fast cars go. It's all diesel trucks all of a sudden which is cool but would really like to see some car guys parked somewhere

I drove my F-250 all weekend. I didn't go anywhere in the Mustang or the Camaro. Of course the Camaro is down while I swap an engine into it so there is that.

I'm almost finished with a twin turbo 5.3 truck build. 83 Shortbed. Did you do your own build on your truck?

There is very little in the way of car groups out this way. Almost everything happens in the Carrollton, Denton, Fort Worth areas. Doesn't help that the greenville track closed.

There used to be some in the Dallas and Plano areas. Although, that's typically going to be a younger crowd.
