5.7 is a old push rod design, it performs. People actually use it because of real world results. 5.7 LS and 5.7 sbc
Seriously how many of those motors do you really see out there? I'm sure there is a few that someone tried to make work but there is a reason that people use 5.7.

How bout finding some et's for that motor. That dyno is likely the happiest on earth. Yes the 5.7 can make that or more. A friend made 620 on a engine dyno with stock 243 heads and a hydraulic cam. Not even turning it that hard.. It's a dirt car ls motor. Lots of room for improvement on that motor. But you don't see me comparing engine dyno to whp dynos.
I am getting a mod motor. As few of them as you see ripping up the drag strip, they mhst be some kind of secret weapon. Y'all should not have let the cat out of the bag.
