Did your plugs backup what the dyno wideband was reading?

Yes when I fattened it up to read 10.5 afr on my wideband and 11.5 on the dynojet I could actually read the fuel on my plugs. Interesting though it dropped about 25 hp being safer. At cruise and idle my wideband matched the dyno but not at WOT. The next car I dyno'd had a new aem wideband and matched the dynojet perfectly.

**** you Photobucket! BTW the track hasn't been open for several weeks but they should be open next Friday July 7th. Looks like valve float on 20 psi so I'm going to pull the springs and check pressure / shim them up.

Made it to the track finally and it just had to be 100 degrees. The new fan seems to have helped as I made it the full trip to the track without overheating. Unfortunately my battery decided to take a dump after I teched in . I was able to start it with a quick charge and get a few passes in. Messing with the travel limiters on a super hot track with not the greatest prep didn't go so well. Never got it to leave the line so back to the drawing board!

Way too tight apparently

Little more travel, front wheelies up but wheel spin. New PTC builds boost with no issues.

Well, it's always a learning process huh?
I've always said a crappy track is often worse than the street.
On a cooler day, better prep and more tweaking it will fly.
I've noted on the news that eastern OR and WA have been really hot.
We will get cooler temps.

The track was supposedly great when I first got there, but having a dead battery set me back about an hour or so. I was mostly worried about wheelies so I was super safe / tight on the shocks. The very last pass would have been great but I sat there so long as a guy oiled the track down in the left lane right in front of me. So I moved to the right lane and the next guy oiled the start line too. I tried to leave super soft and the track was just done after that. My car was super pissed from trying to idle so long with a shot battery.

I've talked to some smart people and have a lot better shock strategy for the next outing

I made it to the track again but I really haven't had any luck getting down at all this year. I have been going on shitty friday night street car drags but next weekend Northwest Nights track rental saturday and sunday with good prep. Everytime I hook initially and than spin it seems, but having this DA rear shocks adds a lot of new adjustments to try out.

Finally got a legit seat mounted in the car. It's super low and maybe a bit far back but I am 6'3".

Looks like it pops the front up maybe a little too fast? Can you slow that down?

I put the shock settings in the video title but the last pass was 1 from full tight. They are just qa1r on the front so I will eventually have to upgrade to much slower valving. From what I understand you want full shock extension right before the 60' mark.

Dang it, every time I check this thread I'm hoping to see an 8-second pass!

You and me both! I've only made 1 full 1/4 mile pass as I've only focused on launching this year. It was the last video I posted. This is with the air filter on and thru the borla muffer leaving on only 5.5 psi spinning. I short shifted 1st because it spun and it really rode the converter in 2nd. I've gone 5.86 to the 1/8 before so when I can launch I know it will do it.

I pinned the gate shut tonight to see what it would do but I don't think it was good. Maxed out my fuel system and made 80 psi of back pressure. I would say it blew the exhaust valves open a bit but I will be shimming the springs up to 180 lbs on the seat instead of 160lbs.

Shouldn’t pin the gate with that engine/turbo combo if the setup wasn’t designed to run at nutty back pressure. Good way to break something IMO. If you want more boost, run a larger turbo.
