Todd, Do you have a photo of the cut in the tunnel ? I have been thru this thread 3 times and have not seen it .

I don't have a detailed shot of that area as the car I used for the T56 mock-up was missing most of the rear half of the tunnel sheet metal.

Todd, Thanks for the quick reply !! Do you remember how much you had to cut the tunnel to fit the Mag T56 ?

I think there is a picture of a T56 magnum installed, in this thread.

It depends on which engine brackets you use. If you use the forward bias brackets you will basically be cutting only to accommodate the shifter; if you use the rear bias brackets you'll be rebuilding the entire tunnel more or less.

Only from the bottom side . I like you wanted to see a photo of the cut in the tunnel from the inside .

I will be using the forward bias mounts . Are the headers for both mounts ? I will be swamping a very clean 71 El Camino and do not want to cut it up .

I don't have a photo of a finished cut floor for the T56 install. You've chosen the best brackets for requiring the minimal amount of cutting/fabricating and yes, the headers fit with both sets of brackets...accomplishing that was no easy task by the way.

Nothing new to report on those components yet, but I will post availability info as soon as I know something that is concrete.

Same as 302-2 but with provisions for a stroker crank.

Yes, as Andrew stated above, the design is basically a tweaking of the 302-2 pan to provide some additional benefits to the user. The new features are stroker crank capability (up to 4.00"), chamfered front corners of the sump for more clearance and the inclusion of turbo drain-back bungs in either side of the pan. I posted this image in another thread last week and am attaching here to support the description I've given of the pan.

I couldn't say as there was no engine or trans present in the specific cars used to validate transmission fitment when they were obtained.

I don't suppose that convertible crossmember is going to be ready in the next couple weeks? Was holding out for this but will just go with Gforce if you don't think it's going to be finished.

I don't see it hitting the shelf within the next couple of weeks Chuckd, so I would go with the G-force unit if you need something within that time frame.
