s10 chassis wiring without computer
i am building a 2001 s10 blazer with a 5.3 i have a holley dominator ecu and would like to take the stock computer and some of the wiring to it and keep the stock fusebox is there anyway to do this or does the ecu control some of it?

It's actually really simple, I have a 2000 S10 that was a 4.3 v6 (Holley Dominator)I kept all the stock wiring except the engine harness. The only thing you need from the engine harness is wire that goes to the starter (purple if I remember correctly) and one ground wire. None of my stock gauges work but I already planned on using a Holley dash for everything anyway. The BCM will still control dome lights and so on. For some reason my keyless entry no longer works, if I lock the truck with the door switch the alarm still works but you but goes off when you open the door with the key and you have to turn the ignition to run to make it stop lol.
I actually took my cluster out of the dash and removed all the electronics and hot clued the needles to the face and mounted the Dominator ECU behind it. It looks like a complete cluster but it's gutted.
These trucks don't have much room in the dash area.
