Default Don't Wash Your Car!! (Texas Flooding)

Don't wash your car. I heard it's going to rain this weekend.

Cody are you floating over there yet?

My side of 288 at Angleton is fairing decent but I am already tired of it and we aren't half way.

I'm in Clear Lake and it's barely sprinkling. I might go for a jog. Lol

Doesn't Angleton flood easy? I remember not too long ago it flooded pretty bad.

My place is still good but I am stuck at the plant. I hope all turns out well for as many as possible. We are Texas so that's comforting.

All of that west of 288 seems to flood badly. We've only lived here a little over 4 years so I'm not experienced here.

Port Lavaca the previous 20. I feel lucky to not have been there this time.

Crazy freaking night!!!

I got stuck on the median and was rescued by the sexiest girl in the littlest shorts driving the biggest F-150. Only in Texas....

I told her I wanted to repay the favor and take her out, so I gave her my number. (I left my phone at home when I went to change clothes and get straps, etc.)

After that she gave me a whole freaking Pizza from her truck!!!😲

I'm in love!!

If anyone around the Brazoria area would like to help with donations, khenry did some cooking for responders an anyone else needing a meal @ the old Mcoy's near the San Bernard river. I believe he may be doing it again tomorrow. I don't know all the details but I'm sure it's on FB.

Codyvette - Hit up Kroger for help. We are giving donations to First Responders.

I used to be in Public Affair's for Kroger, but I'm back as a manager.

If needed, PM me and I'll help make something happen. I know the store managers at Clute, Angleton, and Alvin very well.

You might pass it on to khenry. ( He's a member here)I am stuck at work and don't associate with him. My wife just went and donated some clothes so I knew about it. I don't know if he plans to do more or not. I don't need any help. I have been extremely fortunate not to have any damage thus far.
