Lol that'll be next weekend for me. My fogs should be here around Thursday, but i'll be out flying Thursday and Friday so I won't be able to get to it until Saturday. I'm waiting on BLS to do another group buy and hopefully I can talk him into using the new Morimoto MLED projectors. They cost a little more, but IMO would be well worth it.
As for today out with the old junk amp with the spotty front channel
Did my version of the wire tuck mod. My passed gerside coils have been mounted where the battery used to be. When I extended the harness I intended on doing this but I wanted to make sure it ran okay before fully committing.
Now that those are hidden gonna focus on pulling the ac box inside the engine bay, as well as pulling the valve cover to polish it and replace the passenger side plugs. Should clean up things a lot and make it easier to work on
I have them in my spare room at the moment. I have had a set back in modding my WS6. But I hope that I can get them installed here in a couple of months.
Busy morning and afternoon here today, started with a good wash, then a clay mitt which was awesome compared to a clay bar, then a coat of meguiars 205 with my da, took care of some scratches while I had the da out, and then a couple coats of NXT wax to finish it all up. Well needed clean up and wax, little interior detail here and there as well. Tommorow maybe if time permits clean up engine bay some.
I got rid of the power steering fluid heater that's built into the upper radiator hose since it's prone to failure and allowing coolant and PS fluid to mix together as well as the added heat from the coolant heating the fluid can't be good for the pump. I installed a proper fluid cooler. There's a thread on this site regarding what to buy. Pretty simple and straight forward. While I was at it I also flushed my coolant and changed out the thermostat.
I really like the new headrests! Can you please share with us where you got the work done?
Props to Grant for the embroidery work, although I came up with the actual design and color scheme to match my interior.

When I wanted my headrests done I found a local shirt embroidery store gave them the jpeg image of the bird and they took care of it. Only charged me $25. I have a spare set now but one is in pieces where it was undone to make the pattern for new ones that matched my recovered seats and both are missing the plastic clip retainers.
This is my friends 86 TA that's getting repainted Hyper Blue from the 6th Gen. We also built a 355 Vortec based block with Dart heads. On the engine dyno it made 425HP@5800 RPM and 430TQ@4300. I think it would make a little more at higher RPM but the dyno operator didn't want to pull it any higher.
Here is another LT1 car that I bought about a month ago. It's a 97 WS6 Trans Am. It's for my son to drive, he'll be 17 this October. I looked at 350z, G35, etc.. but he wanted a F-Body because that's what he's grown up with. The hood needs repainted and the clearcoat is gone on the wheels but it'll make a nice driver. It's got Hooker headers, GMMG exhaust, Hurst shifter and 3.73 gears.

A '97 Black WS6 Trans AM was my 1st Trans AM! I bought it new in '07 of course, and I also installed the 3:73 gears, and GMMG exhaust Nice buy.
I've put 3:73 gears and the GMMG exhaust in ALL all my F-Bodies since.
