I replaced it with another bottom end and everything is working properly. Have a slight noise coming from the drivetrain and I need to align the rear end other than that it's time for more tuning.

Oh good lord that melted piston looks insane. But the fab work is quite impressive. I've always liked the looks of the corrado's and the bricklin's. Always believed they needed large breathing V8's to round off the good looks with powerful engines.

I'm actually in between amelia and bethel. where's about are you located? I wish I could see this thing eat tires down 125.

fuuuuucccccccckkkkkkkk, just as soon as you get it Rollin, do you have any ideas what may have caused this, awesome idea with the vw.....I like to see more of these euro ls swaps, as one day I too would love to stuff a lsx in a 240d or 450sl, more the less a 240/300d because of smog exempt I'm in ca...but a 450sl would work to if it's pre 75

Wastegates line had come off or wasn’t attached so it ran lean.

Need to work on the tune as it doesn’t want to start when cold. I don’t know what I’m doing with hp tuners yet so that’s the biggest issue right now.

still need to get the meth injection in and wire the flex fuel sensor.
