Default Sprinkled uncle bens rice on my V

I know these are usually not anyones cup of tea..myself included but I bought these headlights for direct plug n play to replace the faded oem lights which also had a driver side ballast completely die the night before these arrived.

They are made by protuninglab, were fairly cheap and quality seems decent.Heres my video during install with some day and night clips.

Looks like they align very well.

Too bad you didn't have some before and after pics.

They are not bad at all but seem a tad too low and narrow.I would like some more area coverage infront of me.But maybe switching to 4300k bulbs might make it better.I dont like 6000k currently.Too much blue tint

A few pics during the process

Are they adjustable in the same way the stockers were?

Love mine, put better bulbs and ballasts and they are set. They have the same adjustability and pretty good light cutoff. They take some work to get installed without odd gaps.

Stick the Allen key in the top to adjust them up and the Phillips head will taper them in or out.

I was impressed with the light cutout..I thought for sure it would be the fleebay projector housin that just scatters beams in every direction other than the road itself. Ill have to see if the 4300k bulbs will suffice since i was shipped the wrong bulbs.thats a later project to swap bulbs now that its together lol

They're made by Depo, not ProTuningLab.

Protuning lab is where I got these from. There are 4 or 5 other companies that sell the same things... Doesnt matter really who slaps their brand sticker on them. There all made in Taiwan lol. Just hope they last awhile without issues

Have the same. Looks good. Please change your high beam and fogs to LED. Will look great when you unlock at night. I used auxbeam.

Your high beams shouldn't kick on when you unlock it. The halos will

Which ones are these specificlly, whenever I have looked they specify halogen, meaning base v6 correct? All the Vs came with factory HID. Did your wiring harness plug right in? Thanks, I will be intrested in doing the same to mine.

I didn't have to do anything for wiring other than plug in the harness. The confusing part is that they all say they don't work on cars with factory hid.Meaning you cannot retain the factory hids in the new headlight housing.

Yes the highbeams are supposed to come on with these headlights when you double click unlock as pathway illumination.

This is the link to the same ones I got.You don't need the warning canceler,i went with the ccfl halos(look nicer at night) and I opted for 55w ballasts.Currently using 6000k bulbs and will be switching to 4300k.

You can shut off the high beams in the dic settings. Ditched mine and it's just the halos

Psh lol..I ditched the dic with the stock radio within the 2nd week of owning the car.The highbeams coming on do not bother me at all,its handy for the very dark areas where I park sometimes at the gfs place.

Reflektors are crap of these Depo's, it's only chrome like painted plastic, no mirror finish like the oem with truly chrome on metal reflektor, u can't expect the same output like original HID D1S bulbs, there must be a reason for that cheap price of a pair new headlights...

I don't expect them to be oem..never said that. But I expected the bulbs to be brighter than they are using a 55w ballast. But they also shipped me the wrong colour bulb.Im not a fan of 6000k bulbs, the 4300k will suit my needs better.

As for brightness, its not far off from oem..they weren't anything spectacular either lol.

I used also a Opt7lightning kit with 55W bulbs before, but have tinted glass, so there would not be enough light output, have to grind it down next time, winter is commin...

Pretty sure these are eagle eye lights and not depo.

Mine are depo brand, and other than the osram ballasts, they are stock fitment down to the washers and completely plug and play.

I sourced mine from rockauto. Search for the part numbers on the pictures to find then cheaper.

The fit, function and output is OEM.
