If you're talking about hammer not many people should expect to replicate that. He had tons of time and money into it. And I think his best was 7.5

Personally with the 555r, I could not get that tire to hook without some serious slipping of the clutch. Best I could get out of them was a 1.92 60ft. Maybe it was my driving though which would not surprise me but I could not get anymore out of them.

Just so you know though, those tires have a much longer life span than say an 05R or ET Street. The compound is just not as soft. I used to get about 8-10K miles on my 555r. I still say they are more of an "in between" tire and not a full DR. imho..

I did 7.6's in a buddy's lbo m6 ls1 z28. Car didn't have headers and was on stock tuning. It had 3.73 gear in the 10bolt. It's not hard to get them there. From my experience anything below a 1.7 60" with a 10 bolt m6 car is asking for it to break.

A street tire is a tire that you can drive on the STREET in pretty much any conditions. You can do that with the 555r's. Keep the laughs coming, fucktard.

Hammer went 7.3s i think. That was on a 10bolt and not 60 footing like the typical 7.3-7.6 in a mustang.

So summer tires aren't street tires by that logic.

I’d be happy with a 8.0 right now, I might get this one tuned before I take it to the track but I’m not sure. I’ve dealt with stalled auto cars a good bit but I don’t have much experience with anything manual except the stock m6 I had years ago. I know my auto car reacted well to headers and true duals. It dropped 4 tenths with full exhaust and the free ram air mod.

I expect 1.95-1.98 to be my average 60’ on street tires. Just not sure what that will equate to in the 1/8 and 1/4 with my m6 lol.

My auto with full exhaust, lid and free ram air mod ran 12.76-12.80 consistently on 275/40/17 street tires hooking great.

A drag radial is a drag radial, a street tire is a street tire. My 3800lb br0 ran a 7.4@95 in the 1/8, with stock spring, shocks, control arms.

Yeah my best 1/8 was 7.3@95 on a radial and the 10 bolt. Stock suspension minus sway and rear shocks

Looks like my memory is way better than Nick's. No surprise there.
