Mine broke a rear toe link on the rack. I had to run to a you pull and snag one then take it home and use some heat and oil to get it to turn. I picked up 2 just incase. The first one turned about 1 turn and that was it even with heat lol second one worked like a champ.

So the midplate on the tranzilla is longer than I originally planned.

Can't use the act spacer. 24mm.

So a one day delay while they machine a new one.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm back on the road again.

So for reference it seems a difference of approximately 10mm. While this may not apply to some, I'd be willing guys thinking of running a tr6060, or tranzilla may want to plan for that.

This damn anticipation is killing me.

I bled my clutch. 8mm off set box wrench. Not too bad and this made a huge difference. Looked like coffee came out. Pedal is much better.
Now on to the rest of the list... gear and trans fluids + nav screen and 3 buttons

Figured out I have a oil leak starting from the rear of the oil pan by the starter. Ready to strike a match on it this week

Don't all LS drive lines leak? Mine just went from damp to leaking from the tail shaft seal.

Looks like I need a F body pilot bearing.

Spaced the bell housing to midplate with washers and got it 3mm farther back. (.118").

The f body style sits .118" farther back. This will allow the longer input shaft to work.

Oh well. At least I was able to test drive the car some. As in 1-2 in the parking lot before I pulled it back into the bay.

The tranzilla is a work of art and shifts sweet!

Can't wait to swap out the bearing and see what happens. I'm waiting on George at RSG to get back to me for confirmation that that's the issue.

Started building my 4” intake tonight. I’m going to try and get some more done tomorrow. This is my first time doing piecuts, welding round tube, and an actual project welding aluminum lol we’ll see how it turns out.

- Took advantage of the warm weekend to wash it for the first time in I-don't-know-how-long. Also washed a couple other cars, and did some maintenance work, so the V ended up getting washed in the dark. May not have been the best cleaning it's ever received, but it's better than nothing!

- Installed a new OEM radiator. (Interestingly, the V radiator is now cheaper than the 6spd V-6 radiator by quite a bit.) Old radiator, which was a used OEM radiator I had picked up a while back, started to leak from the seal around the top tank.

Did you get a chance to try the Adam’s cleaner on the wheels? If so, how’d it stack up?

Today I worked on the wiring for my 4” Xforce Varex mufflers. They’re comically heavy and large compared to the mufflers in my Magnaflow system. I don’t mind the extra weight in the rear, though. All the good weight reduction opportunities on this car still can’t get you to 50/50. I picked the 4” version because the butterfly valves restrict flow somewhat in the open position, and there’s no size penalty over the 3” version. Once these things get installed, I should finally be able to start the car at 5 AM without waking the neighbors. Hopefully they’re reliable. Knowing me, I’m going to be opening and closing them a lot for fun at first.

Thought about it, but no. It's supposed to be warm into next weekend, too, so maybe I'll give it a shot in daylight then.

Lol thanks

Finished product doesn’t look nearly as nice. I need to go back to those invisible welds.
