I'm not sure where I was at that point. After 3 tries and no breakfast we were all a bit confused.

That pic I think was take 3 so I'm somewhere around the top left of the face. Outer ring.

Finished swapping this 122 over that I bought. Ran into a couple minor issues. One was the water neck hitting the TB. I just cut it off and welded it back at an angle. The second and one I didn’t catch until the very end was the rotor bearing plate is 5mm thicker on the 122 than it is the 112. That pulled my jackshaft back 5mm and wouldn’t let me bolt it up. Ended up just pressing the jackshaft pulley hub off the end 5mm. Not sure I have the room to take the whole 5 out with moving the head unit. If I ever have it apart again I’ll probay do 2.5mm on the head unit and 2.5mm on the hub.

Also fab’d up this little mini vacuum block so I can run my hobbs, FPR, and boost gauge without any T’s. It started out as a solid chunk of 3/4” 6061 bar stock for the body and a 1/2” 6061 plate for the mount. Nothing impressive but will be nice to have. It will mount on that little stud that’s not used between the battery and the blower.

The main unit is out of a 2011 ford explorer with 3:73 gears and a factory ford traction Lok with 31 spline axles. I will be putting ford racing carbon clutch packs in the LSD unit and keeping the truck S spring (which applies more pressure than the car s spring) and putting it all in the new cobra case.

So it's a custom build or all parts are common in the 8.8 scene?

No kidding, I'm no 8.8 expert, but I'm not sure I have ever heard of these upgrades. More info please.

It's just common cobra upgrades, nothing really special.

Looks like the same internal build of oem, but pressure comes from the S shape spring in the middle instead of the belleville washers at Getrag, right?

- Greased all the front end poly bushings. They were getting a bit clunky in the cold weather, seemed happier this morning.

- Stopped by Lindsay Cadillac and had them sync the TPMS sensors on my winter wheels. To make a short story long...
I had tried the "manual" way two or three times with no success - not sure why the sensors didn't want to cooperate. Local tire shop had mounted new tires for me, but I swapped the wheels onto the car myself, and tried the manual sync. No joy. Stopped by the tire shop and their box couldn't get a reading from the left rear, so I bought a new TPMS sensor and had them install it Tuesday. Now their box could read all 4 sensors, but for some reason the car didn't want to go into the TPMS reset - holding both buttons down on the remote didn't do anything. I've had that issue on occasion in the past when swapping wheels/tires around - again, not sure why - and it has always "fixed itself" by driving the car. So, I had them jack the air pressures up to 45#, figuring I would drive the car, then do the manual re-sync at home by bleeding off the excess air. I drove the car home and, sure enough, was able to get the car to initiate the TPMS reset, but then couldn't get a response from the left front sensor. Grrrrrr... At that point I figured I would just swing by Lindsay and see if their box would get the sensors to sync, or if not, perhaps they could tell me if there was some other issue. Fortunately, they were able to sync the sensors just fine. Hooray!

Thanks! I tried to clean mine really good and it was just stained in a bunch of areas so I figured I would snag some paint and hit it quick.

So much progress!

I feel left out.

I went to replace the 12 year old Magnavolt (it is still working!) in my V1 with a Kenney Bell Boost-A-Pump I bought a few years ago.

Got all hyped up for the exchange and realized the KB unit is not the right one and I don't want to modify it to make it work.

I ordered the right one and found something else to do..........

So I didn't do anything to my V today or yesterday, but I meant to, does that count? lol

LOL! I put new Firestone Indy 500s on 3 weeks ago but not sure if I posted. Got two of the wheels resprayed. Washed it yesterday for the first time in...ahem...a while. Put a v2 STB on it when I did the brakes. Any of that count?
