There is no reason you shouldn't get what you pay for, "If" they subbed in cheap valves and they become a problem...then it's on Mast to make it right.
I know someone that paid $18,000 to have a 360ci engine built for a sprint car and the shop blew it up on the dyno and expected him to pay for it, He hadn't even seen the engine yet. In the end they came to an agreement but I still thought he got screwed. He should not have had to pay for anything.

One time I had a shop assemble a bottom end for me
Because they did it so cheap. After 15 or so miles a rod nut literally fell off and grenaded the entire engine. Block, Cam, everything. Asked for some help and they said nope. Asked about ordering a crate engine and they wanted 15% just to handle it. **** that place. Never went back

Brand of valve is completely irrelevant here.

Hell, look at the bottom cylinder in your photo (The one with no damage) and look at the melted plug strap.
The problem is your setup, not the valves, not the heads, not mast's. (Though if your running a poor enough tune or enough boost to melt a plug strap you should probably have ti/inconel in there)

I'm no expert but I know I would NOT be running trickflow valves on anything but a mild out of the box trickflow head. Sorry for your loss.
Having said that, they do not specify any valve brand on their website when ordering. Does your invoice specify the valves?
My gut tells me that this is going to be an uphill fight. I'd CONSULT an attorney or two but wouldn't invest much in that unless you're really getting the feeling that this is going to be a slam dunk case.

Check the valve sizes and if they are the same as the TFS LS3 255 heads then yes I believe the valves where at fault. We seen a rash of problems with those valves in the past yr or so. They are complete garbage!!
With that said I do not think you will have luck with legal action. Its a racing type part/engine so its on you in the end. Unless the company stands up you are out of luck. If every one was successful in suing performance companies for reasons like this their would be none around.

I want to thank all that have offerred words of support and help. I had learned alot over the past 4 mos, and over the last 48hrs quite a bit more. The facts have brought me to this point, not emotion or a need to point blame. The heads were purchased fully assembled (e.g. mfr, tier 1, tier 2 supplier relationship). Re: car...it only had break-in miles and a low boost tune with intentions of turning things up when I got to the track, which it was going to do 2 days after things went bad. If this happened at the track, I wouldn't have batted an eye. Its a part of racing.
I was never looking to bash Mast, but to warn and collect info, both of which I have done. A fews guys were able to check their setups based on my post (FB DM's). I wish I had that option. A number of people have reached out to me to provide more data points. Again, my actions going forward will be data based/data driven. In the end, I just want to be treated fairly and get what I paid for. If someone made a mistake, they should make it right. Quality organizations do that. Actions define who and what we are. The parties involved have all the right info to make this a win-win solution.
