Nothing wrong with using the search option! but to the guy the dug up the old post, I would recommend something else as there are better options out there, what are your goals for the car and what do you use the car for? there is so many options out there from TSP, BTR, Tick and the list goes on

right now it's just a backup replacement for 5.3 when time is right.....74 nova with th350 3000rpm stall.....not trying to break the dyno just want reliable power 450/500hp If l can get close to my cts-v ' power that would be great
5.3 is making close to 400hp same as my cls550. In the back u can see my 6.0 fresh from machine shop. 030 overbore....
New rods and .030 over flat tops..
64cc rectangle port heads.....gonna replace springs and seals just to be safe

correct, but i think anything performance related pre 2010 isn't relevant anymore unless its a sticky......for the most part. **** has changed. especially in the heads and cam department. **** back then afr 205s were the bees knees. now a good worked factory casting best those heads and aftermarket castings now smoke them too. and lets not get started on cams. im no expert, but look at the cam specs from what was hot in 2006 2008, and look at them now.
