I run a racetronix 255 with hotwire kit. Cammed 6.0 with ported 243's and fast 92/92 combo with stock rails and 42lb@43 psi Bosch injectors. Nitrous outlet 92mm wet plate kit. 200 shot. Stock fuel lines and regulator..Idle fuel pressure is around 62-63 at the rail per my autometer electric gauge. Fuel pressure drops to about 55psi under WOT while spraying. Slightly low.. If I'm not mistaken you don't want to drop below 58psi, especially at WOT on spray. I am upgrading to a stand alone system this season for that reason. Someone correct me if I am wrong and save me some time and money lol

This makes me feel even more comfortable since I only have a 5.7 with stock 241's and stock LS6 intake. Even if I went to 243's and a FAST intake, I think I would still be above 58psi on a 200 shot. I am mainly going to spray a 100-150 shot. The 200 shot will be a last resort if there is a big reward for the winner haha.

I will also mention that it drops to 55psi~ and the car was running PIG rich at 10.5 or so on the AFR. My tune is off since I changed intake/throttle body from the ls6 that it was tuned on...I will be re-tuning the car and dropping to slightly smaller fuel jet to compensate also, but i digress.... to the OP you will be just fine on the racetronix 255 and hotwire.

Mine starts at around 64 psi at idle and goes down to around 55 at WOT on a 150 shot as well, but AFR is good so regardless it's doing the job just fine

Sweet. I ordered the kit this morning so it is on the way. This was exactly the kind of info that I was looking for. Thank you.

Good deal. I'm looking forward to getting to spray. I can't wait to see what a difference it makes.

Even a 100-150 shot makes a pretty big damn difference. Nitrous is unlike a blower or turbo. It hits very hard right away, and has less of a sensation as power climbs. Blower or turbo is more the opposite IMO

100-150 shot is going to be what this kit is for. A 200 shot may or may not even be used. I raced a 383 stroker on a 150 shot from a dig this past weekend out in Mexico and he must have a really bad setup because he started spraying when he hit 2nd gear and was barely walking away from me. I was actually gaining on him fast at the top of first, but he was on a radial and I was on street tires so he got me by about a car and a half out of the hole, but at the end of the 1/8th, he was only in front of me by about 2.5 cars. I was pretty happy with the outcome of that race.

Yeah there was something very wrong with that 383 then lol. Either that or he was spinng or something lol.Trust me when I tell you that a 150 shot will make a HUGE difference.

Oh I believe you. I ran a S10 with a stock 5.3 on a 200 shot and he blew my doors off hahaha. The guy with the 383 gets picked on a lot because it's nowhere near as fast as it should be. A properly set up 383 on a 150 hit should beat beat me by at least 5 cars and still be pulling me hard. Its crazy how much of a difference having the right set up can do. I also ran a 99 Trans Am on radials that had stock 243s, BTR stage IV, TH400, and 9" with 3.73s. He has a bottle but left it off during our run. He got me out of the hole but i stopped the pull and started bringing him back in on the big end but ran out of room. It was a fun night of dig racing. My radials will be here Monday

Sounds like your car runs really good for the mods it has. Even on a 100 shot I'm sure you will hurt a lot of feelings lol. I totally agree with what you said about having the correct setup. Maximizing what you have can go a long ways even if you have less mods and/or power than the next guy

I have a few videos that I am going to post in SRK later, I just have to convert the files to the right format. I had the shift points moved to 6750 and it made a huge difference. I can pull away from 5.0's fairly easy now. The friend of mine with the Bama tuned 11 5.0 raced me from a 50 roll last Friday. He jumped me by a car and I reeled him in hard and was about to pass him when he missed 4th. How he managed to miss 4th after hitting 3rd is beyond me.
