I don't get the issue with the cam timing. Advantage to technology. To me it would be the same exact thing as saying that a Mustang needs to catback to be compared to a stock Camaro because the Camaro has NPP exhaust. Advantage to technology. Suck it up.

In the end I have yet to come across a NA 5.0 in my travels that can hang with me and some boosted ones I seen at the track as well. There is going to be one that flat ******* mops me one day and I will say kudos to he/she for a proper set up NA one. Plenty of faster cars out there and I dont mind taking a L

The same goes for rockers sw. That the advantage to push rod technology.

Besides....once you go shoving big cams in the coyotes it limits cam swing. Many times they just get locked.

Same here phil. If i was that worried about all of them i woulda done went cam only on the ls7 and taken care of all of the

That's how easy it would be.

No, that's the disadvantage. You have to physically open the long block and swap parts.

I don't see it as being a disadvantage. I see having to use a tuner to do it for you at their convenience as being a disadvantage. It's about a 30min job.

No swap....we replaced the ls1 with it. No other changes. Not like the swap you tried to compare it to where the car wouldn't run/move w/o lots of other ****.

12 sec pass and 112 mph trap speed in the 1/4 mile and you would hang with phils 5th gen?

Can anyone else confirm this ?? This is the first I heard of the 427 besides 1969 but I want to see what others say it's definitely . The first time I heard this
