I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer that to be honest.

Anthony (Manna) liked to the room to keep everything from heat soaking. Added bonus was the room to run the down pipe out the fender.

Was away for 1.5 weeks in Asia for travel, ready to get back on the build.

Car has been back at my house for over a week.

So concludes Phase 1.

Phase 2 is wiring, mostly at my house.

Phase 3 will be brakes/ fuel system at Manna's shop.

Pretty similar. Made 840rwhp on a Mustang dyno on 22psi and first trip to the track went 9.20 @ 153. Having a hard time getting it to spool, only went 1.55 60' on that pass. It is on E85.

Interesting info, we'll have to compare notes on spooling when I get this going. Do you have a build thread?

This phase, I just need to pull out the wallet and buy more stuff.

Stock Escalade alt are high amp, 140 iirc, but huge ( yuge? ) and heavy although cheap and a plenty.

Car audio alternators can be had high output in small packages, but they are pricey. We bought a 200amp f-body sized ones years ago for a friends car that was audio crazy and iirc it was about $500.00

Go to the local yard find the cleanest alternator you can find (one with the 4 wire plug) buy the Holley pig tail with the resistor built in it and hook to 12v..... 50$ and good to go

That’s a two wire one.... you need one with a wide 4 wire plug, search under like a 2004 avalanche Tahoe etc.....with this pig tail

Are you running truck spacing? Or were you just going to make the truck alt "work"?

Could try a 160A one wire self exciting alternators on Ebay. I've ordered 3 now. had good luck with all of them. They are the smaller Fbody style alternators, but I'm surte thay have the truck alts as well.
