Confirmed that I hurt my LS7 Block
Hey you cut a 1.2x 60' right? He's only had 1.11 so your getting close with your LS3. Oh wait that was your stock ls6...???? Whatever.
Seriously. It's just these fools that want to say one thing is better for everybody. So childish & close minded.
FOR THOSE GUYS: LS3 HEADS ARE THE BESTEST IN THE WORLDS EVERS. I WOULD PUT DEM ON MY TRACTOR IF I COULDZ.
Crossbreed 416ci went low 9s with his TFS 245s. Car made stupid power and he had a hard time keeping the front tires on the ground. Chris1313 proved the heads work as well. James Day camaro went 5.9s in the 1/8 Mile ON MOTOR on pump gas with a hydraulic roller and a fast intake. James used TFS 235s to the job done.
If you follow Richard Holdener builds/tests on facebook you'll see all kind of parts tested. He have tested Mast heads (cathedrals and rectangle), TFS heads (again cathedrals and rectangle), AFR heads, Dart heads, GM heads... just to name a few. He also test all brand blowers and turbos.

So can you tell me why the 404ci stroker only made 560 horses with GMPP LS3 heads ?
Pretty sure i linked a 700+ hp stroker with gmpp heads
To OP. Hey Bill. Haven't seen you in awhile. I haven't been getting to track too much mostly cause of weather. Can't wait till your car is back up. Hope to see you soon buddy.

Way to many variables to make a boosted comparison fair. Na is the only way to compare them.
I have seen TFS 235 heads consistently pick up anywhere from 30-40 over stock or ported LS3 heads on 402-408 engines...every time. You L92 lovers have to understand that these heads are not ideal for a 4" bore. The big 2.165" intake valve is slammed right next to the chamber wall and cylinder bore. Might flow well at 28" of H2O but it does not make great power on a real running engine...not compared to a well designed cathedral port head.

That has to be the SLOWEST 800 horse motor I've ever seen naturally aspirated. I just read that thread. Car went 7.15 on motor in 1/8 mile at 2900 lbs turning over 8000 RPM.That kind of power that setup should be in the low 6s in bad air at 2900 lbs. My boy Mike 402ci makes roughly 650 at the crank and runs 6.6 in the 1/8 on worn out slicks at 35XX lbs banging gears like a
I admire your post but that
is slow bro. Try again.
