Default More progress on the Stang

It's been a few months. I ran out of aluminum line and fittings to finish so I'm waiting on those. Got lots of other stuff to still do though.

Hopefully I'll finish by the end of the month and start tunning and be ready for summer.

This little girl here has been slowing me down. She's too small to help right now she's only 8 months.

Looks beautiful!!

Gotta love red.. I was hoping to find a red mustang for my project but settled for what I could get.

Mind explaining what crossmember/motor mount setup you went with?

.. also what headers did you use?

Again looks awesome.. I love the intake/tb setup.. gotta love mustangs and the clearance under the hood. I was thinking about going with a similar setup and a small cowl on mine too.

The steering rack and control arms mount to nothing?

I somehow missed the plates in the pictures.

i'm using a motor plate and it's the stock crossmember off the stang. the headers are some modified kooks. I didn't use to like red it kind grew on me. and it should be an awesome setup when it's done

it's a tight fit for the starter. i could never get the headers in there if it was all welded together so i cut the flange in half and it has a slip on collector so I can remove the header if need be without too much trouble.

Default details on the intake

HI: Can you post some more details on your intake setup please. A setup like that would be nice in an old Chevelle or Camaro with a functional cowl induction hood. It looks like you are using SVO injectors and a Speed Inc fuel rail. Is that a single or dual plane manifold? Edelbrook or GMMP? What brand and size TB are you using. How do you plan to handle the tps, at, and mass air flow sensors. Could you run a small velocity stack with the air temp sensor in it and a carb air cleaner on top with out a mass air flow sensor? Any way it will probably flow really good. Good luck on your car.

The intake is an edelbrock victor jr. Single plane I believe. The tb is a accufab 1200cfm tb. It comes with tps and iac. I am not going to run a mass air flow sensor because I'll be doing a speed density tune. I believe I'm not going to use the air temp either for my setup. I'll have to check when i get that far.
