also, if i were to go with a walbro 255lph fuel pump, would my gas milage be affected by switching to that over a OEM replacement? my car doesnt have many mods, so i dont need anything extreme, just something that will be better than OEM, without sacrificing gas milage or anything.

Racetronix intank fuel pump.

...and while your in there, dont forget to upgrade the wiring too.
Racetronix includes the plug&plug wiring harness upgrade, or get the hot-wire upgrade if going with walbro or another pump.

Hard to beat the Racetronix kits. They come with everything you need and are pretty easy to install. LINK for more info.

Yup, it would be fine for daily driving. Shouldn't affect your milage any too.

Thanks,
Matt

i went ahead and ordered the racetronix kit this morning, will be here tomorrow.

it can hold whatever a walbro 255 can plus more, due to the upgraded harness. i believe the 255 is good for 700-800rwhp.

With a supercharger the 42-60 # injectors will be looking for fuel.

+/- 600 rwhp. +/- 650 rwhp with fuel rail mounted fuel pressure regulator & return line. A BAP can be used to push it a little more.

i was in your same situation, i ordered the racetronix last thursday, and did the swap 2 days ago.. i went ahead and dropped the tank, and that was a royal PITA, on the 98's the filler tube is permanently attached to the tank, so its kind of like doing headers, there is only 1 way that it comes out, and it can take forever to find that one day to get it out of there... very frustrating. after that the pump went in easily, the harness was easy, very straight forward, and a good quality kit i must say.

on the initial start up, it started right up fine, no hesistation whatsoever, i had alittle less than a quarter tank, so i drove carefully to the gas station, but one thing i noticed was when i took off out of my neighborhood it kind of stuttered alittle in 1st, not sure if was the level of gas, or just because the pump is brand new and what not, but i went and put 10 gallons in like they suggest, and it works fine, it is louder than stock, and you can hear it at a stoplight, but it doesnt bother me, i kinda like it lol.

my question is, what are the limits of this racetronix fuel pump? like, i use to run the stock one down to E, how far can this one go before i should fill up again?
