I didn't get screwed by him, but I think he's a retard for his recommendation.

And when I called him to ask about pricing and everything, he told me he likes to put his transactions through ebay to keep local buyers from having to pay sales tax. He acted like he was doing us a favor.....sounds like that's that might be justification to have his ebay account suspended, and I bet AZ Dept of Revenue or whoever would be interested in knowing about that. The price he quoted me for the 408 was amazing compared to everywhere else I talked to...too good to be true. I'm glad I didn't give him my $$.

I've seen the "shop" first hand, because it's right next door to a dyno shop and it's a ******* pig sty. I'm not the neatest guy in the world in my garage or at my desk at work, but damn, there was crap everywhere.

I've seen his stuff on ebay and it does seem to good to be true.....because IT IS!

It just pisses me off, because there are not many Gen III/IV related shops in AZ and the one that's somewhat known is crap.

AZ Power and Sound (sponsor)
XTreme Motorsports (I thought they were a sponsor but I don't see their logo on the side anymore)
Arizona Speed and Marine (also used to be a sponsor - I don't see theirs anymore either)

O man, this thread makes me laugh. I had this guy do some stuff for me when I was doing my LS1 swap into my truck. He made me motor mounts, headers, and notched my oil pan. The oil pan actually turned out nicely and he got it done in like 3 days...which amazed the hell out of me. But, his motor mounts were drilled wrong and he didn't even know the correct way to put them in. The headers were even worse.... We managed to get them to fit but the drivers side header was all over the frame so it is dented to hell so it fits and the passenger side header bangs the floor board. He tried to tell me that my frame was twisted.... The headers also took like 3 months or abit more to recieve. I'll always remember the best excuse I ever got from him though...I was asking about my headers and he came up with something like....he was served with a notice by the fire department to stop all work until the fire department came down and made sure his shop was ok which took like a week.....lol. Another good one....he told me he ran out of welding gas, but for some reason it took him like 1.5 weeks until he got more.....

LOL

That would be $#^%ing hilarious. Even better have a ******* call his mom and tell her that she is preganat with his love child. People like this are scum.

Charging $7k for a engine, not delivering or giving out utter garbage is just like stealing $7k.

I should send over Bubba to show him some love.

Bubba the 6 foot 20 inch 400lb black guy hung like a paint can. straight outa federal prison.

Haha, yea I've seen bad things about his shop from people all over ls1tech and s10 forum...too bad it was after I had paid him to make my headers. Owell...but yea there really needs to be a sticky somewhere warning not to do business with the guy.

Hell yea. I guarantee you would get dozens of people telling similar tales. I've only heard of one occasion where his headers actually fit. Still haven't heard of any motor mounts he has made that fit yet tho....other than mine.....which we completely re-drilled.....

The guy is eventually going to go out of business. Maybe not tomorrow or the next day...but its gonna happen. Word of mouth will rape his clientele sooner or later.

For those looking for engines in Arizona, We strictly use Katech bottom ends and assemble the rest in house with either our grinds, or Ed Curtis/Flowtech grinds, and your choice of AZPS heads, AFR, ETP etc! We have some pretty nasty combos we have also built locally using these engines so feel free to stop in and see whats at the shop!

For you AZ guys were off Priest and university in tempe... 1721 W 10th place suite 4B, Tempe, AZ 85281...

for you out of state guys, were just 2 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor airport! We also have a Katech engine special going on right now for the 427 short blocks!
