downfall of the l92/ls7 head style is you need a 4.000 bore

only down fall is 4 inch that the smallest it can be. i was going to build a 427 but thinking of stay closer to 4 in bore size for strengh cause the motor will be supercharged. going on a lsx block. Is it worth it to do a ls7 head from ET over the ls1 head from ET?

If you want to push big power use the ET or All Pro. Thicker deck is more friendly to your cylinder pressure and not puking out gaskets. Also, I wouldnt be scared of running a 4.125" bore with the LSX block at all. If all you want it 4" bore, you can get the LS2 block to survive 1000 hp reliably and save the weight and money.

yes im looking to buy a ET heads but not sure what to go with a ET 255 ls1 head or ET ls7 head?
Only wanted to go with lsx block cause of the 6 bolt for more clamping power really didnt want to deal with add weight.
Could i buy 6 bolt heads put them on my ls2 block with just a forge build? what amount of boost would be safe on a ls2 block.
If have issues with pushing water or what ever could i just build a lsx block later on and just bolt heads on? not looking for anything to crazy just a solid 800 850 to wheels

Depends on your bore and displacement. The regular ET ls7 4.1 head wont be as good as their canted valve head or the AP head at the same price range.

these numbers use the ETP LS7 Heads rather than their canted valve heads

also, the "PRC LS7x 7.0L + CNC Ported Head" has been listed simply as "Ported LS7"
