Vengeance Racing/TrickFlow 346 LS1 503RWHP!!!!
The customer brought in the car last week and we upgraded his pump/injectors and strapped it back down for some additional tweaking. The results speak for themselves....
List of mods:
TrickFlow TFS cylinder heads
Vengeance Racing VRX1 Camshaft
Harland Sharp roller rockers
Kooks stainless 1 3/4 Longtubes, no cats, GMMG catback
Fast 90 ported by Vengeance
Nick Williams 90mm TB
Pulley
Mezierre street pump
4:10 rear with 17x11 rims/tires
PUMP GAS/NO Flycutting/28.5 TOTAL TIMING
The torque impressed us more than the horsepower did!!!! Now this badboy just needs a 12bolt/slicks/ and more importantly a DRIVER

I cant help to think that there is a small correction factor issue, that the max rwtq is more like 430rwtq or so and that the power is exaggerated.
But if its not, damn thats alot.

Awesome job guys, I'm sure the owner is quite pleased, keep up the great work!
Hi Ron,
Why so much timing?
Do you consider "28.5 TOTAL TIMING" as a pike somewhere on your curve or is it a consistent number between max torque and max power?
Maximum high flowing intake numbers (characteristic of good head) are usually mate with High Volume Efficiency and in my (old) experience of Europeen Racing it induce less timing.
Specially if you can double the efficiency of the head system by adding "increased speed combustion" in the equation of the head enginered design.
Some WRC engines on a 102 ron are using timing pics aroung 16° and their SCR is still not so high, I agree yours is lower...
Do you take any advantage with this 28.5°, is it related to your particular head combustion shape or a particular flowing valve event you decided to use or simply a fact it works better like this?
